The Greensboro Kwanzaa Collective (GSOKC) is a program and partner of Indigo’s Cultural Arts Centers. It is comprised of a group of families and community members who noticed a void in programming for Kwanzaa in our local area. We exist primarily to bring the annual seven-day celebration of Kwanzaa to the community.
Through the use of the Nguzo Saba (Seven Principles of Kwanzaa) as guidelines for our actions in the community and amongst our friends and families, we are able to showcase the significance of Kwanzaa through the creation of positive collaborative ventures with community members, organizations, and local artists throughout the Piedmont Triad Area.
